SHR OPS & NCADC Roller Shade Project

The SHR OPS & NCADC Roller Shade Project consists for material and labor to install new roller shades in conjunction with window replacement completed by others.

Request for quotes for SHR OPS & NCADC Roller Shade Project shall be submitted via the Johnson County electronic bidding platform, IonWave, at jocogov.ionwave.net.

Scope of Work

• Remove existing window treatments as necessary.
• Owner shall retain salvage for roller shades. Contractor to protect the removed units and prepare for storage.
• Horizontal blinds shall be disposed of in a legal dump facility.
• Install new manual solar shades per the SHR OPS & NCADC Glazing Replacement Project locations
• Installation will be completed in conjunction with the Glazing Replacement Project. As the window contractor (Janssen Glass) replaces sections of windows, the awarded window treatment contractor will install shades as appropriate (estimated bi-weekly during glazing replacement activities).
• Exact installation dates and time are forth coming. Project duration is November 2026 – June 15, 2027.
• Remove debris and clean work area. Dispose of debris in legal dump facility.

Request for quotes shall be submitted via the Johnson County electronic bidding platform, IonWave, at jocogov.ionwave.net until **2:00 PM CST on Friday, November 6, 2026**. Submission of proposals will not be allowed after the designated time.

No proposal may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid closing.

The County reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best, most responsive and responsible Bidder for the Work covered by the Base Bid and any approved Alternate(s) and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any quote submitted.

Terms and conditions of the Purchase Order (Attachment #3) shall govern, and issuance of the purchase order (PO) serves as our acceptance of the proposal.

Award shall be made to the lowest qualified bidder within one (1) week, unless all bids are rejected.

Personnel working inside of the building will be required to submit a Sheriff Background Check form. Only approved personnel will be allowed on site

Work hours 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday. County holidays excluded
