Signs

The Boone County Public Works Department requests bids from qualified vendors and contractors to provide services associated with Signs during the time period of January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027.

Package A, B and C

Bids for Package A, Package B and Package C will be accepted separately by true total bid amount (every item in a package must be bid on for the bid to be considered a true bid).

Bids for Package B materials are to be ASTM Type 4 Retroreflective Sheeting .080 Gauge Aluminum.

Bids for Package C materials are to be on square post materials and accessories only.

Bids for Package C; Items 9, 10 and 11 are to have flatbed freight shipping charge included in pricing.

Term and delivery

The term of this contract shall be for twelve (12) months, beginning January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027.

Unless shown otherwise in bid item, it is required that the resultant order(s) be delivered complete within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of order.

Any goods to be delivered to a County location shall be coordinated with the Contract Administrator prior to delivery. Such goods shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination, freight prepaid and allowed.

The quantities shown are estimates only and the County reserves the right to purchase more or less of any item in accordance with its actual usage. No minimum requirement will be accepted.

Submission

The Boone County Fiscal Court will receive sealed bids electronically via the County's electronic bidding system only until 2:00 pm (local time), **Tuesday, November 24, 2026**. Bids must be submitted electronically. Late, hand delivered (paper), emailed or facsimile bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened online at the time listed above.

Questions

The final day for receipt of questions from bidders shall be on or before 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 19, 2026. All communications must be in electronic format and submitted via the County's electronic bidding website.

Award

The award will be made to the overall best bid meeting these specifications. Award will be based on the following factors (where applicable): (a) adherence to all conditions and requirements of the bid specifications; (b) price; (c) qualifications of the bidder, including past performance, financial responsibility, general reputation, experience, service capabilities, and facilities; (d) delivery or completion date; (e) product appearance, workmanship, finish, taste, feel, overall quality, and results of product testing; (f) maintenance costs and warranty provisions; and (g) repurchase or residual value.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after scheduled time of receipt of bids.
