2026 Penfield Little League Building Sanitary Sewer Upgrades

The Town of Penfield requires bids for Penfield Little League Building Sanitary Sewer Upgrades at 3100 Atlantic Ave, Penfield, New York 14526.

The project consists of the installation of a complete sanitary sewer system, including pump station and force main.

The Town of Penfield Engineering Department, on behalf of the Penfield Town Board, is seeking unit price bids for the following classifications of sanitary sewer work.

Construction Sequence/ Project Scope

• Excavate and remove septic tank. Abandon remaining septic system in place per MCDPH standards.
• Install precast concrete pump station wet well assembly per project details, including stone bedding, manhole risers, access hatch, etc. Pressure test pump station.
• Install two (2) Town-furnished e/one U-series grinder pumps per provided details and specifications, including but not limited to control panel / disconnect assembly and associated conduit, 4” gravity service line, discharge line, vent pipe, etc. Re-route gravity service line from existing building as necessary to tie into the pump station.
• Directional drill 1 ¼” HDPE force main from pump station to existing 8” gravity sanitary sewer south of Atlantic Ave. Abide by NYSDOT permit for all work in the state ROW.
• Install UNI-LATERAL curb stop / check valve assembly at state ROW line.
• Install doghouse manhole at existing gravity sewer line south of Atlantic Ave and tie-in new force main. Pressure test manhole prior to cutting existing sanitary line.
• Pressure test new force main.
• Perform pavement repairs as necessary. Fill, topsoil, and reseed any disturbed soil as necessary.

In accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of NYS General Municipal Law, **sealed bids** must be submitted to the Town of Penfield at the Penfield Town Hall, 3100 Atlantic Ave, Penfield, New York 14526, no later than **11:30 A.M. on Friday November 13, 2026**, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Sealed bids must provide the name and address of the bidder, project name, and the words “Sealed Bid – PENFIELD LITTLE LEAGUE SANITARY” on the front of the sealed envelope.

A Pre-Bid site visit is not scheduled, but all applicants strongly encouraged to visit the site.

The Town of Penfield reserves the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt before awarding any contract. The Town of Penfield further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and to accept any proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its best interests.

No bid bond will be required for the project.

Bid award will be based on the total installation cost of the complete sanitary sewer system for the Penfield Little League Building.

The prevailing wage rates of the State of Project State apply to this contract as do any requirements of the State of Project State associated with the use of these State Prevailing wages.
