Bids Open for 42 Aurora for window & porch flooring replacement, painting

Bids sought for fiberglass window replacement for 10- 1st floor windows; porch post reinforcement and porch decking replacement (wood); scrape, prime and paint entire home. This home is a Village of Lancaster local landmark and is occupied by a business on the first floor and apartments on the upper floors. All work has already been approved through the State Historic Preservation Office and the local landmarks commission.

Please review the scope of work, and prepare a formal, itemized estimate. At this time we will accept an itemized bid for each or all scope elements.

• General Conditions
• Porch: Reinforce porch posts at pillars; Replace porch decking with wood
• Paint: Scrape, prime and paint; Sherwin Williams, same color scheme
• Windows: Replace 10 1st floor window units with fiberglass, same opening size and configuration (please specify)
• Allowances: 10% contingency on total

Estimates can be e-mailed to me at cparadowski@labellapc.com on the cost estimate forms attached to the work write-up no later than **4:00 P.M., Friday, November 20th, 2026** in order to be considered for the project. If you do not wish to bid on this project, please return the bid packet to our office, along with a cover letter to this effect. Contractors are not to leave their estimates with the property owner.

Property owner, Shannon McNichol, may be reached via telephone at (716) 480-8117 to arrange for an on-site inspection of the proposed improvements.

In submitting this estimate, I am aware that payment for this work will be provided in whole or part with funds allocated to the Village of Lancaster under the New York Forward initiative, which is sponsored by the NYS Office of Community Renewal (OCR). In consideration thereof, if I am awarded this contract, I agree to abide by applicable state regulations and provisions.
