Southtowns Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWTF) Phase 2 Expansion

The Project includes construction of two new biological UNOX reactors, UNOX reactor aerated influent channel, four new clarifiers with integrated flow distribution structure, new return activated sludge (RAS) pump station, and tunnel extension, and improvements to the existing influent pump stations, four existing UNOX reactors, and electrical facilities, including process/mechanical systems, demolition, abatement of asbestos and lead-based paint, concrete, masonry, metals, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, painting, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, security, civil, utility, instrumentation and controls, and appurtenant work.
