Corrugated Aluminum Pipe & Bands

The purpose for this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain pricing from vendors to furnish and deliver Corrugated Aluminum Pipe & Bands for Division 6, for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Cumberland County Maintenance.

The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract.

Corrugated Aluminum Pipe and Aluminum Pipe Bands conforming to and in compliance with NCDOT, Division of Highways Roads and Structures Specifications dated January 2024, and any addenda thereto. All pipe must be inspected and approved by an NCDOT Materials & Test inspector and stamped.

The Vendor shall deliver Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to the following location(s):

- 549 Transportation Dr., Fayetteville, NC 28302

Vendor should complete delivery within **ninety (90) consecutive calendar days** after receipt of purchase order.

Delivery Info

1. Deliveries will be ONLY accepted Monday – Thursday 7:00AM - 2:00PM.
2. Vendor must contact Beverly Blue at (910) 364-0602 prior to delivery to confirm time of delivery.
3. NCDOT reserves the right to call for inspection of any material prior to delivery.
4. Vendor must note claims for shortage or breakage on the delivery ticket.
5. Upon completion of the delivery, the Vendor shall remove and properly dispose of all waste and debris resulting from delivery from the delivery site.
6. NCDOT will provide help to the driver with unloading, if needed, at the convenience of NCDOT.
7. DO NOT NEST PIPE.

**Electronic responses ONLY will be accepted for this solicitation.** All bid responses shall be submitted electronically via the electronic Vendor Portal (eVP). Any bid or portion thereof received after the bid submission deadline will be rejected.

All responsive bids will be reviewed, and award(s) will be based on the responsive bid(s) offering the lowest price that meets the specifications to include any required verifications set out herein, such as but not limited to past performance, references, and financial documents.

Offer shall be valid for at least sixty (60) days from date of bid opening.

Bid price shall constitute the total cost to the State for delivery fully assembled and ready for use, including all applicable charges for shipping, delivery, handling, administrative and other similar fees.
