SEALED STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS will be accepted by the City of Bowling Green, Ohio for Engineering and Surveying Services on the following project: Brim and Bishop Utility Extensions.
The City of Bowling Green is seeking qualifications from engineering firms for the above-referenced project. The City intends to enter into a contract with one design firm to perform the necessary surveying, engineering, and easement acquisition services to prepare construction drawings and technical specifications for said project.
The selected firm may be needed for technical assistance during project construction, however, the City will perform project bidding, construction administration, and observation.
The project involves the installation of new water and sewer mains in the following approximate lengths: 3,000 linear feet of 8” water main, 850 linear feet of 20” water main, and 750 linear feet of 8” sewer main with all necessary appurtenances along Brim Road and Bishop Road. This project will also include pavement rehabilitation as necessitated by the installation of the new utilities.
This project is funded in part by the Residential Economic Development District Grants (REDD) program, which has deadlines for disbursement of funds. Due to this, the City intends to bid this project at the end of March or the beginning of April of 2027.
Qualification statements shall contain the information requested on the following Qualification Based Selection Statement Criteria. Any Qualification Statements not including all requested information or not updated upon request will be reason to deem a firm unqualified.
As required by the Ohio Revised Code 153.65-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the City of Bowling Green, Ohio will enter into contract negotiations with the most qualified firm. The selected qualified consultant is required to submit Certificates of Insurance providing professional liability and other insurance coverage acceptable to the City prior to the execution of the contract.
Statement of Qualifications shall be limited to a maximum of twenty (20) sheets, inclusive of all required information (resumes, schedules, exhibits, etc.).
