ITB - Industrial Strength Laundry Detergent, Bleach, and Related Items for the Harris County Sheriff's Office

Harris County is soliciting bids for a term contract to furnish and deliver Industrial Strength Laundry Detergent, Bleach, and Related Items for the Harris County Sheriff's Office term beginning on or about February 1, 2027 and ending one (1) year thereafter or until all services ordered prior to the expiration date have been satisfactorily delivered and accepted or performed satisfactorily for the using department(s).

The vendor shall furnish and deliver, on an "as needed" basis Industrial Strength Laundry Detergent, Bleach, and Related Items for the Harris County Sheriff's Office at various locations throughout Harris County as Detailed on the BidTable. All products furnished under this contract shall be new, unused, unopened, unexpired, and of current production. Refurbished, repackaged, expired, relabeled, returned, gray market, counterfeit, or previously used products shall not be accepted.

The following descriptions of the preferred products are as follows:

• Laundry Detergent Plus (15-gallon container), Ref.: Ecolab # 6101844
• Drain and Floor Cleaner/Sanitizer (2.5-gallon container), Ref.: Ecolab # 6100731

Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination and made to the Harris County, Texas address stated on the purchase order. Standard orders must be shipped within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt and delivered within three (3) business days unless otherwise approved.

The Vendor shall provide a complete and current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each chemical product delivered. [...] SDS must accompany each shipment and be provided to Harris County upon request.

The Vendor shall maintain the capability to accept and process emergency orders twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, including weekends and County-recognized holidays.

Fill out and return to the Harris County Purchasing Department ONE (1) complete bid online through Bonfire. If not submitting online then place the hard copy in an appropriately sized envelope or box, and the PACKAGE MUST SHOW THE JOB NUMBER, DESCRIPTION AND BE MARKED "SEALED BID."

Offerors must submit a completed bid online through Bonfire (preferred method) or as a hard copy before **2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME IN HOUSTON, TEXAS** on the date specified. Late bids will not be accepted for any reason.

Harris County reserves the right to award this contract on the basis of LOWEST AND BEST OFFER in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. [...] Pricing is NOT the only criteria for making a recommendation.

Harris County may consider four (4) one-year renewal options, renewable one (1) year at a time, based upon the same terms, conditions and pricing as the original year.
