Spraying Herbicides

Kanawha County Schools is solicitating bids for Spraying Herbicides.

The Solicitation is identified as RFQ# 27-119. The Contract is a Term Contract and an Open End Contract for Service: the scope of the service to be provided will be more clearly defined in the specifications included herewith.

Submission method

Responses will be accepted until **November 12, 2026 @ 10:00am**. Any proposals received after the time and date stated above will not be considered.

**Mandatory** pre-bid meeting: **October 29, 2026 @ 10:00am**. All Vendors submitting a bid must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting shall result in disqualification of the Vendor's bid.

Contract term

This Contract becomes effective on the date it is awarded to a Vendor and extends for a period of 1 year(s). Renewal of this Contract is limited to (2) successive one (1) year periods. Automatic renewal of this Contract is prohibited.

Insurance and licenses

• The apparent successful Vendor shall have appropriate workers' compensation insurance and shall provide proof thereof upon request.
• Commercial General Liability Insurance: Bodily Injury of **$1,000,000.00** per person, **$1,000,000.00** per occurrence; Property Damage of at least **$1,000,000.00** per occurrence; Bodily Injury/Property Damage of at least **$2,000,000.00** combined single limit.
• Current Copy of State of West Virginia Department of Agriculture Business Pesticide License.

Vendor shall pay liquidated damages in the amount of **$15.00** per day, for failure to comply with the bid contract.
