Furnishing of Long-Range RFID Vehicle Access Readers and Accessories

The Villages Community Development Districts is requesting bids for Furnishing of Long-Range RFID Vehicle Access Readers and Accessories. Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Department located at 3571 Kiessel Road, The Villages, Florida 32163, bid packets can also be submitted electronically via the OpenGov Procurement Portal, and will be accepted until **3:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2026** for "ITB #27B-001".

The District has standardized on the Nedap equipment and accessories specified in the Scope of Work.

• The bidder shall be a Nedap-authorized reseller and provide proof of current authorization with its bid.
• All equipment shall be new, genuine Nedap equipment meeting the specified requirements.
• The bidder shall provide Nedap's two (2) year manufacturer's warranty on all products supplied, in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Bidders shall base their bids solely on the specified manufacturer, models, and part numbers. Alternate manufacturers, substitute products, and "or equal" products will not be accepted.

**Submission method:** Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Department located at 3571 Kiessel Road, The Villages, Florida 32163, bid packets can also be submitted electronically via the OpenGov Procurement Portal [...]. Submissions by fax, email or other electronic media (excluding OpenGov) will not be accepted under any circumstances. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Electronic submittal via OpenGov or a Physical submittal with required number of copies (one (1) original and one (1) copy (for a total of 2) and one (1) electronic copy on a new USB flash drive).

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on November 20, 2026 at 3:15pm at 3571 Kiessel Road The Villages, FL 32163. No award decision will be made at the public opening. All bids will be reviewed after the opening for responsiveness, responsibility, and compliance with the requirements of this solicitation.

**Proof of Current Nedap-Authorized Reseller Status** is **required** with submittal.

Contractors responding to a competitive formal solicitation shall provide with their submittal, a Certificate of Insurance (COI) or a letter from the insurance company stating required coverage is obtainable.

The vendor/contractor shall maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance at a limit of liability not less than **$1,000,000** each occurrence and a **$2,000,000** annual aggregate.

The contractor shall maintain Business Automobile Liability Insurance at a limit of liability not less than **$1,000,000** each occurrence.

The contractor shall maintain either a Commercial Umbrella or Excess Liability Insurance at a limit of liability not less than **$2,000,000** each occurrence and **$2,000,000** aggregate.

The contractor shall maintain Cyber Liability Insurance at a limit of liability no less than **$1,000,000** per claim/loss and **$1,000,000** annual aggregate.
