TFR Station Reclining chairs

Tampa Fire Rescue furnishes the stations' lounge areas with maxima Recliners. In between calls and various tasks, the rest and recovery of the men and women in the field for TFR is crucial for best their performance. 24 hour shifts can be busy, mentally, and physically taxing. These recliners allow for the best use of time for rest and the best response out of our ranks. Our logistics department keeps an inventory of these recliners to replace them whenever they are in poor condition.

Recliners

• Heavy-duty, commercial-grade reclining chairs suitable for frequent use in fire station environments.
• All chairs shall be new, unused, and of current production.
• Chairs shall be uniform in appearance, color, and design.
• Frame: Heavy-duty metal frame designed for durability and structural support.
• Reclining Mechanism: Manual reclining mechanism operated by an exterior handle or lever.
• Chair Design: Stationary, non-rocking design with a stable base.
• Weight Capacity: Minimum manufacturer-rated capacity of 380 pounds.
• Upholstery: Black leather or equivalent durable, non-porous material suitable for frequent cleaning.
• Upholstery Protection: Antimicrobial and resistant to bacterial growth, moisture, and routine cleaning products.
• Armrests: Two armrests with integrated cup holders, one on each side.
• Comfort: Adequate back, seat, and head support for extended periods of seated use.
• Construction: All components shall be securely assembled and free from manufacturing defects.

Headrest Cover Requirements

• One matching black headrest cover per chair.
• Leather or compatible material suitable for the chair being offered.
• Embroidered Tampa Fire Rescue logo.
• Logo design, dimensions, and placement to be coordinated with TFR before production.
• Covers shall be properly fitted and compatible with the proposed chairs.

Delivery Requirements

• All freight, shipping, handling, and delivery charges included in the quoted price.
• Delivery coordinated with the designated TFR representative.
• Chairs delivered fully assembled and ready for use, unless otherwise approved by the city.
• Damaged or defective items shall be replaced at no additional cost to the City.

All quotes shall be submitted electronically through OpenGov. Offers by telegram, telephone, mail, e-mail, or fax are not acceptable, unless authorized by the City of Tampa Purchasing Department prior to the closing time and date. No quote may be withdrawn or modified after the time fixed for the opening of quotes.

Quote prices shall be good for a minimum of sixty (60) days unless otherwise specified in the Technical Specifications.

The City reserves the right to award this quote by division, line item, or aggregate total. To be considered lowest responsive, responsible bidder by aggregate, the bidder must quote on all items within the quote solicitation.

All vendors performing work on City property, regardless of the dollar amount, are required to submit proof of insurance prior to award.
