2026 Annual Generator Maintenance Service

The Village of Oak Brook is seeking sealed bids for 2026 Annual Generator Maintenance Service.

Annual Generator Services Requested

• Inspect air cleaner
• Test antifreeze and adjust
• Check coolant level
• Inspect belts and hoses as required
• Check engine heater operation
• Check generator set for fuel, oil, coolant leaks
• Check air intakes and outlets
• Check transfer tank operation
• Check battery charger operation and charge rate
• Drain exhaust line
• Inspect silencer
• Check battery electrolyte levels and specific gravity
• Clean battery terminals as necessary
• Check generator output voltage and adjust as necessary
• Emergency system operation without load transfer
• Check transfer switch and accessory operation
• Check engine alternator charge rates
• Check engine and generator gauge and indicator operation
• Check generator set controller operation including shutdown functions
• Perform engine checks per manufacturer's recommendations
• Lube, oil and filter(s) change
• Fuel filter(s) change
• Engine tune-up with parts for gas or gasoline engines (per the manufacturer's service intervals)
• Load Bank Service and testing

All subject to manufactures recommended maintenance schedule and plan.

Responses are to be submitted via the Village’s eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/oak-brook at or before **10:00 am on Tuesday, November 10, 2026**. Bids received after this time and date will not be accepted.

No bid shall be withdrawn after opening of bids without the consent of the Village of Oak Brook for a period of **ninety (90) days** after the scheduled time of opening bids.

The Village of Oak Brook reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it.
