US101 At Market Ave Enhanced Crossing Project

The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract for US101 At Market Ave Enhanced Crossing Project (the "Project") for the benefit of the Oregon Department of Transportation ("ODOT") (the "Contract"). The work to be performed under the Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, permits, and services for and incidental to the completion of all construction work in connection with the Project in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.

The work, includes, but is not limited to: install temporary work zone traffic control, remove and construct concrete curb ramps, sidewalks, curbs, remove and replace asphalt, remove and install striping, legends, pavement bars, remove and install signs, install flashing beacons.

The work to be completed under this Contract is located on the Oregon Pacific Coast Highway (US101) at MP 238.17, in Coos County, OR which consists of supplying the materials, equipment, labor and incidentals required to perform the following tasks as described in the Contract plans and specifications:

1. Provide temporary work zone traffic control, complete.
2. Install and maintain erosion control.
3. Removal of concrete curb ramps, sidewalks, curbs as shown on the plans.
4. Construct concrete curb ramps, sidewalks and curbs as shown on the plans.
5. Removal & Replacement of asphalt as shown on plans.
6. Removal of striping, legends, pavement bars as shown on plans.
7. Install striping, legends, pavement bars as shown on plans.
8. Remove existing signs as shown on plans.
9. Install signs as shown on plans.
10. Install flashing beacon as shown on plans.
11. Perform additional and incidental work as called for by the contract plans, specifications and as directed.

Bids must be submitted through the OregonBuys system.

The following range is a Project estimate for bonding purposes: **$100,000 to $250,000**

This Project is anticipated to be funded with State funds. Agency will not withhold retainage.

**Substantial Completion:** March 31, 2027

**Final Completion:** April 10. 2027

Liquidated damages will apply to the Contract resulting from this ITB for failure to complete the Project by the Substantial Completion Date.

This ITB and resulting Contract are subject to the Bureau of Labor and Industries ("BOLI") prevailing wage rate requirements. The Work will take place in Coos, BOLI Region 7.

A **mandatory** pre-bid conference will be held on November 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM (Pacific). Bids from Bidders who do not comply with these attendance requirements will be rejected as non-responsive.

The public opening will occur immediately following the Closing/Bid Opening Date unless otherwise specified. Only the name of each Bidder and the Bid amounts will be read at the public opening.
