RDW26076 - STREETS ADA RAMP REPLACEMENT 2027

Bidders are invited to bid on the Construction Contract named and numbered as: STREETS ADA RAMP REPLACEMENT 2027, JOB NO. RDW26076.

The locations of the work are: Various locations in Salt Lake City. Locations may be small and far apart.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances indicated in the Contract Documents to improve the public way at specific location. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances indicated in the Contract Documents to improve the public way at specific location. The Work generally includes but is not limited to concrete flatwork replacement, curb and gutter, drive approaches, and miscellaneous tie-ins to other structures in the public way, including asphaltic tie-ins. Some locations may be repaired by mud jacking, grinding, and / or scarifying. Also, some locations may require tree and stump removal at the direction of the Resident Project Representative, with the approval of the City’s Forester.

The Work will be Substantially Complete by midnight of the 19th day of November 2027.

**Submission:** Sealed bids shall be received (1) electronically via Bonfire, (2) by U.S. mail addressed to the office of the City Engineer, located at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111, or (3) by in-person hand delivery of a hard copy at the same office, until **2:00 p.m.** local prevailing time on **Wednesday, November 18, 2026**. Emailed bids or bids delivered to any other location will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams.

**Bid security:** Bid security must equal at least **5 percent** of the total amount of the Bid. If Bid Security is not delivered with the Bid, the Bid will not be read or accepted. If a Bidder submits a bid electronically using Bonfire, the Bid security must be an electronic or scanned Bid bond. If a Bidder submits a bid by U.S. mail or hand-delivery, the Bid security must be either a hard-copy original Bid bond or a hard-copy original cashier’s check.

**Award:** The Construction Contract will be awarded in compliance with Salt Lake City’s Value-Based Procurement Program. Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified for the Work. Bids shall remain valid for 45 days after the day of Bid opening.
