DFCM Construction - VBS Construction Stage I - UDC - USCF Water Pump Station Modification & Fire Storage Tank- Project #26032100

The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting proposals for construction services for the following project:

This project adds a dedicated fire water storage tank and new valve building to the USCF campus. The project is intended to separate the culinary water and fire water systems on the USCF campus.

Construction Cost Estimate:** **$2,500,000.00

There is an existing water pump station and culinary water tank on the east side of the prison facility. This project includes construction of a new 70-foot-diameter reinforced-concrete tank to store approximately 500,000 gallons of emergency backup water for the fire protection system if Salt Lake City water service is interrupted. The project also includes a small, 290-square-foot valve control building to support proper operation, minor piping modifications within the existing pump station, and new piping connections between the tank, valve control building, and pump station.

**Substantial Completion Prior To:** November 15, 2027. **Liquidated Damages:** **$500.00 per day**.

All proposals must be submitted through the U3P website no later than the time and date specified on the Solicitation Schedule. Late proposals will not be accepted.

Proposal documents must be combined and uploaded as one PDF document. Hyperlinks to additional pages and external sources are not allowed and will not be assessed as part of the proposal. U3P has a 1 GB size limit for any individual upload.

The Selection Committee will short list all responsive and responsible Contractors who receive a minimum short listing score of 80 points. Short listed Contractors will be invited to bid during Stage II of the selection process.
