Muscoy Area Rehabilitation - Phase 1

The Board of Supervisors of the San Bernardino County, State of California, will receive sealed proposals for construction on MUSCOY AREA REHABILITATION (PHASE 1), Various Locations. LENGTH: Various. WORK ORDER: H15301. AREA: Muscoy Area. ROAD NO.: Various Locations.

The work, in general, consists of various road surface treatments including mill and overlay construction, multi-layer seal coats and slurry seal, the project also includes reconstructing ADA ramps, signal modifications, loop replacement, restriping and doing other work appurtenant thereto.

This project requires a Class A or C12 Contractor’s license issued by the state of California Contractors State Licensing Board. The Contractor must maintain this license from contract award through acceptance.

**Submission:** Bids (also referred to as “proposals”) in response to this solicitation can be submitted through the San Bernardino County Electronic Procurement Network (ePro) https://epro.sbcounty.gov/bso/. However, if the bid is submitted in ePro, the bidder’s security described herein must still be submitted in person in a sealed envelope prior to the proposal opening date and time. Bids may also be submitted as hard copy in person, with the bidder’s security in a sealed envelope prior to the proposal opening date and time.

**Registration required:** All bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and the County’s ePro system prior to the date and time to receive sealed proposals or they will be disqualified.

**Bid security:** The bids must also be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer, made payable to the San Bernardino County in the amount of at least ten percent of the amount of the bid.

**Bonds:** The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent of the Contract price.

The contract shall be signed by the successful bidder and returned within 10 days. The Contractor shall begin construction work within 15 days after the Notice to Proceed with Construction.
