RFQ - AIR CONDITIONING UNIT REPLACEMENT AT THE PALA REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM (RCS) RADIO SITE

The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from firms interested in providing Air Conditioning Unit Replacement at the Pala Regional Communications System (RCS) Radio Site ("Offerors").

The County anticipates a contract term effective on the Date of Award, through completion and County acceptance of all deliverables.

Contractor shall replace one (1) wall-mounted air conditioning (A/C) unit with low ambient control, one (1) ICM492 control, and one (1) RSH50 surge protective device located at the regional communication system (RCS) radio site known as PALA.

Contractor shall supply and install one (1) Bard 5-ton model W60AF-A05XP4XXJ, "or equivalent," with one (1) ICM492 control "or equivalent" and one (1) RSH50 surge protective device "or equivalent."

Pala, CA 92059

Delivery and installation shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of the Effective Date of this Agreement.

Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, connectors, cabling, supplies, tools, equipment, cleanup, and all other necessary items required to complete the A/C unit replacement described herein, including the following:

• Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of one (1) existing Marvair unit (Serial Number 2012-F178043-0-1).
• Within five (5) business days of removal, Contractor shall provide the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with a letter stating that the unit was properly disposed of.
• Drill and install new mounting hardware
• Install new electrical whips
• Install new control wires
• Manufacture and install all metal transition pieces for the supply and return grill
• Apply all sealant, hardware and supports
• Make all electrical and wiring connections
• Test new units for proper operation

The contractor shall provide the full manufacturer's warranty on the A/C unit supplied and shall warrant all installation and labor for one (1) year from the date of completion.

Offeror must submit a complete original quote in accordance with the format provided in this solicitation to the County of San Diego, Department of Purchasing and Contracting, through **electronic upload to BuyNet** before the Date and Time listed in Schedule.

Submit electronic quotes as files in .pdf format, except where specified otherwise.

Evaluations may consider factors such as technical merit, experience, capacity, history of Offeror compliance, availability, price, and more to determine the quote(s) that provide the best value to the County.

Contractor shall possess a current and active C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Contractor's Classification License with the CA Contractor's State Licensing Board (CSLB).

A payment bond is required for any job totaling over **$25,000**.

Upon Contractor's request and pre-approval by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), a site walk may be scheduled for installation planning.

This Agreement shall begin on the date of the last signature below and end upon completion and County acceptance of all deliverables under this Agreement.
