27-014 Trenchless Stormwater Pipe Rehabilitation Project - 2027

This project involves stormwater infrastructure improvements at multiple locations throughout the City of Sandy Springs, Georgia. The project involves the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of stormwater pipes at seventeen locations.

Pipelining totals are approximately 331 LF of 18” diameter pipe, 211 LF of 24” diameter pipe, 15 LF of 30” diameter pipe, and 37 LF of 36” diameter pipe.

All associated work required with CIPP lining, including but not limited to, pipe cleaning and flushing, pre and post TV inspection and videography, liner installation, water for inversion, disposal of water, pipe gaskets (end seals), testing of liner, and cure tracking, as outlined in the CIPP Specifications, is included in the scope of work.

Traffic maintenance will be required and a traffic control plan for each location will need to be submitted for the City’s review and approval. Homeowners’ property access will need to be maintained. During construction, one lane of road shall remain open at all times. 811 Utility locate necessary for each project shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

Contractor Shall not be permitted to be working on the following Government Holidays: (New Years Day Holiday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, Presidents Day Holiday, Memorial Day Holiday, Independence Day, Labor Day Holiday, Columbus Day Holiday, Thanksgiving Day Holiday, Day After Thanksgiving Holiday, and Christmas Day Holiday)

Any proposal submitted in any other format (email, paper, fax, mail, etc.) will not be accepted for any reason.

Bonds will be required for this project if proposal is over $100,000.00.

The Bidder further proposes and agrees hereby to promptly commence the Work with adequate forces and equipment within ten (10) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed [...].
