Airport Bush Hog FY27

The City of Lebanon, Missouri (“The City”) invites bids from qualified organizations for the purchase of one (1) bat wing bush hog for the Airport. This bid will include Preparation and Delivery.

The bidder shall provide one (1) bat wing bush hog for the Airport to the City of Lebanon in accordance with the specifications stated herein.

Scope of Services

The bidder shall provide all deliverables to the sole satisfaction of the City of Lebanon. The bidder may bid on all or any part of the bid. The City of Lebanon reserves the right to accept or reject any part of the bid. Unless otherwise specified herein, the bidder shall furnish all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide the deliverables required herein.

All bids must comply with the attached specifications, and any other provisions outlined in the solicitation documents. Any deviation from these specifications must be indicated for review, or bid may be considered non-responsive.

Specifications

One (1) Bat Wing Bush Hog that meets or exceeds the requested specifications. The intent of this specification is to secure one (1) bat wing bush hog or approved equal for the Airport. All items appearing in Manufacturers published literature and specifications as standard are assumed to be included in bidder’s bid.

Bat Wing Bush Hog shall have:

• 12’ Cut Width Bat Wing Style
• 1 ½” Cut Capacity
• Minimum 10 Gauge Deck
• Able to be operated with 2 hydraulic remotes (lift wings together, deck lift via wheel)
• Front and rear chain guards
• 160 HP splitter gearbox, 65HP cutter gearboxes
• Laminate tires (4 on center section, 1 on each wing) 6 total
• Minimum 10-year gearbox warranty, 1 year machine warranty.

Delivery

Unless otherwise specified on the solicitation documents or purchase order, bidders shall give at least 24 hours advance notice of each delivery. Delivery will only be received between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The unit shall be delivered complete and ready for use to the delivery destination. All prices quoted by the bidder must be with all delivery, handling, surcharges and other charges included in the bid price. The vendor shall demonstrate to the City of Lebanon prior to acceptance by the City that the equipment delivered complies fully with the enclosed specifications. Bidder shall deliver to City of Lebanon locations to be determined after the bid award.

Submission

Bids will be accepted until **2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2026**. Bids will be accepted **electronically** through our e-bidding service provider, Ion Wave Technologies. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the Ion Wave e-bidding portal on or before the day and hour set for opening the bids. No bid received after the time fixed for receipt will be considered. Vendors must complete registration at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening date.

Bids shall be made only on forms provided therefore, properly signed and with all items filled out. Do not alter the bid form language in any way. Unauthorized conditions, limitations, or provisions will be cause for rejection of the bid.

Bid Selection

Selection of the successful proposer will be determined by a combination of complete documentation as required in this bid submission, equipment best value, and total cost.

The City of Lebanon reserves the right to accept any bid and/or bids, to reject any or all bids in full or in part, and to waive irregularities or formalities as deemed appropriate.

Other

Bidder agrees that this bid shall remain valid and may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Lebanon will exercise their tax exempt status and require that the Bid Amount NOT include sales tax on materials. The City of Lebanon reserves the right to purchase goods and services using the purchasing card.
