What the bid is for

The Nevada State Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Division of Tourism is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide integrated marketing effectiveness study services as described below and in the scope of work and attachments.

The State intends to award one (1) contract in conjunction with this request for proposals (RFP), as determined in the best interests of the State. The Nevada Division of Tourism will administer the contract resulting from this solicitation.

Scope

The principal goal of this study is to measure the Division of Tourism's (Travell Nevada) paid, owned and earned marketing/media efforts to report the awareness and impact these efforts have on impacting perception and interest in travel the state as well as driving visitation and spending.

The approach of this study is to secure a representative sample of panelists in the Division of Tourism's target markets to address the division's various advertising methods including video, print, and digital among others while also asking about owned and earned efforts. The web-based survey should be used for data collection.

The Division of Tourism is looking to secure a minimum of 5,000 responses per fiscal year for subsequent waves across specified marketing areas, consisting of designated marketing areas (DMAs) within the United States, with reach into markets to be determined in conjunction with its ad agency.

The Division of Tourism is seeking a vendor that can field a minimum of four (4) times a year, once for each quarter of the fiscal year.

The questionnaire is estimated to consist of about 60-80 questions and the survey length is estimated at approximately 20-25 minutes. [...]

The Division of Tourism is looking to receive quarterly updates on the metrics that are most important with a full year report and presentation at the end of each fiscal year.

It may be requested that the results be presented at a public meeting to the Nevada Commission on Tourism or the Nevada Commission on Tourism Marketing Committee after full year results are produced.

It is also anticipated that the quarterly results of the survey will be attained about six (6)-eight (8) weeks after the survey is fielded.

It is also anticipated that the report for the full fiscal year results will be delivered in September of each calendar year.

The awarded will work directly with Division of Tourism research and marketing staff in developing, modifying and maintaining the integrity of the study.
