Old Concord Road Comfort Station ITB

An invitation to bid is required for the construction of an operator Comfort Station at the Old Concord Road Park and Ride site.

Project Information

Project Identification: Comfort Station at Old Concord Road. Project Location: 4932 Orchid Bridge Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213. Owner: City of Charlotte.

Type of Contract

Project will be constructed under single contract. See AIA A101-2017 for Base Bid, Stipulated Sum contract requirements.

Allowances and Unit Prices

• Quantity Allowance; Include 350 square yards for the milling asphalt according to requirements of specification section 32 01 16.01.
• Quantity Allowance; Include 350 square yards for the placement of Asphalt Concrete Surface Course according to the requirements of specification section 32 12 16.05.

The Contractor shall complete all clearing, demolition, erosion control measures, rough grading, drainage, and retaining wall on Orchid Bridge Road between the proposed grade crossing at the Light Rail Tracks and Old Concord Road prior to closing entrance to site from N. Tryon Street. The Contractor shall maintain access to site for other contractors at all times.

The Contract Time be defined in accordance with document A101-2017. Liquidated Damages shall be assigned in accordance with document A101-2017.

Contractor shall provide 30 days advance notice to gain access to any existing CATS systems/locations [...] Contractor shall conduct background checks on their personnel prior to requesting access to CATS facilities.
