BRIGHTON HIGH DESTRATIFICATION FANS (CONSTRUCTION)

The purpose of this Request for Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors for construction services at Brighton High for destratification fans for Canyons School District (CSD). It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract awarded to a qualified contractor for services as defined further in the solicitation. This RFB is designed to provide interested contractors with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. All bid preparation costs and any associated activities related to this RFB are the sole responsibility of the contractor.

Contractors allowed to participate in this project were selected from SOQ 25-00064CP-SOQ.

Brighton High School - Destratification Fans

DE-STRAT FAN: MIXED AIR TYPE FOR EXPOSED MOUNTING. MULTI-VANE STATOR AND VENTURI NOZZLE, 6'-0" STEEL SEISMIC SAFETY LEASH, BACNET/IP CONTROL PACKAGE, FACTORY SMART CONTROLLER WITH HIGH/LOW TEMPERATURE SENSORS AND FACTORY INLET GRILLE.

• DF-1: AIRIUS FANS DESIGNER SERIES OR APPROVED EQUAL, MODEL D-25-EC-STD-120, 120/1/60, 0.46 AMPS.
• DF-2: AIRIUS FANS DESIGNER SERIES OR APPROVED EQUAL, MODEL D-45-EC-STD-120, 120/1/60, 1.9 AMPS.

INSTALL FAN AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO TOP OF CEILING. (TYP. 0'-6" TO 1'-0")

CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE POWER FEED IN CONDUIT. THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CAN BE MADE IN A J-BOX (HARD WIRED) OR PLUG CONNECTION (J-BOX RECEPTACLE).

TIE NEW CONTROLS INTO EXISTING BMS VIA BACNET TO CONTROL DF-1 & DF-2 FANS. FANS TO BE INDIVIDUALLY CONTROLLED.

PROVIDE 120V-1P POWER CONNECTION TO NEW DE-STRAT FANS. PROVIDE NEW 15A-1P BREAKER, WIRING, CONDUIT AS REQUIRED.

PROVIDE FIRE ALARM CONTROL MODULE AT EACH DE-STRAT FAN CONTROLLERS. THIS FIRE ALARM CONTROL MODULE IS INSTALLED TO CUT POWER AND STOP MOTORS IMMEDIATELY UPON ACTIVATION OF ANY FIRE ALARM EVENT. TIE INTO EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, AS REQUIRED.

PROVIDE WALL/CEILING PENETRATIONS AS REQUIRED. PATCH AND PAINT TO MATCH ADJACENT EXISTING FINISHES.

**Submission:** All solicitation responses must be submitted electronically through Euna Procurement, powered by Ion Wave.

**Mandatory** Pre-Bid Conference: Failure to attend shall result in the disqualification of any vendor that does not have an authorized representative present for the entire duration of the pre-solicitation conference or site visit.

**Bid Bond** (attachment required).

Performance and Payment Bond: This will not be required at the time of proposal submittal. The high scoring Supplier will be required to submit within fourteen (14) days of award.

CSD requires all bidders to submit a list of ALL first-tier subcontractors, including the subcontractor's name, bid amount and other information required by CSD. Projects under $500,000: all first tier subs $10,000+ must be listed. Projects $500,000+: all first tier subs $35,000+ must be listed. CSD may not consider any bid submitted by a bidder if the bidder fails to submit a subcontractor list meeting the requirements of State law.
