REBID Aggregates - HWY

The County of Ontario (the “County”), will receive sealed bids for IFB# B27015 REBID Aggregates - HWY.

This Invitation for Bid is the County seeking an offer for Aggregates - HWY, further detailed in the Bid Specifications. [...] The County guarantees no minimum or maximum purchase(s) as a result of award of this bid.

This specification describes the minimum material and quality requirements for various AGGREGATES (Coarse and Fine), for use in construction and maintenance of Highways.

Fine and Coarse Aggregates is sand, stone and crusher run for construction. It is also used in the repair of washouts, sinkholes, pavement sub-base problems, drainage installations and other road problems.

All materials provided shall conform to the requirements of the latest edition of the New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials and all current addenda.

The following table lists the material descriptions of items that are to be included in this bid: [...] Select Fill, Select Granular Fill, Select Granular Sub-grade, Sand Backfill, Sub-base Courses, Underdrain Filter, Stone Fill, Crushed Stone, Crushed Gravel, Screened Gravel, Mortar Sand, Grout Sand, Cushion Sand, Concrete Sand, Gabion Stone, Crusher Run, Course Aggregate and Winter Abrasives.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder(s) in part or in whole who meet(s) all the terms of the Bid Specifications. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards as a result of this bid. This is to ensure that an adequate supply of materials is available to the County.

**Submission:** Such sealed paper bids must be filed with the Ontario County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424, PRIOR TO **3:00 pm prevailing time, on Tuesday, November 17, 2026** at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read via Webex meeting.

Questions about or clarifications to the Bid Specifications must be submitted electronically via the County's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ontariocountyny or be made in writing to the County Purchasing Director prior to the bid opening via regular mail, or e-mail at Purchasing@ontariocountyny.gov. Such questions must be in the possession of the County Purchasing Director three working days prior to the bid opening unless otherwise indicated.

**Term:** This Agreement, if awarded, shall be for a term beginning, 01/01/2027 and ending, 12/31/2027. The County reserves the right to renew all or any part of this Agreement, for up to two (2) twelve (12) month periods.
