Vehicle Tint

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections is looking to procure Full vehicle window tint and installation, on a total of 43 vehicles, upon the arrival of the vehicles at the Department of General Services Vehicle Garage, 2221 Forester St., Harrisburg PA 17103.

The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, documentation, packaging, and delivery necessary. Materials used shall meet the description that are designed for high quality, best protection, safety and security for K9 vehicles and all other vehicles in DOC and Probation and Parole Field Services. Vehicles included would be SUV, Minivan, Full Size Van or Wagon.

Each vehicle to have:

• XR Plus Ceramic film
• 96% heat rejection
• 99% UV protection.
• Lifetime warranty from any color fading or adhesive bubbling failure. Warranty is registered by VIN number.
• Installation on all side windows, rearview glass and front windshield sun strip.

These components are manufacturer specific. There are no acceptable substitutions. DOC reserves the right to inspect all delivered items. Non-conforming items may be rejected at contractor expense.

The installation will be completed at the DGS garage or an alternate local location, if parking space is limited at DGS that shall be agreed upon by both the contractor and the Commonwealth prior to install. All products must meet security requirements of the DOC.

**Only Electronic Bid Responses Will Be Accepted.** Bidders must submit their bids through the Commonwealth's electronic system (SRM).

After the bid opening, and prior to awarding the contract, the Department has the right to request references (name, addresses and telephone numbers) of similar work performed in the previous two (2) years as proof of qualifications to perform the work involved in this contract.

This is a one-time purchase with renewal options. The Commonwealth reserves the right to award by item or on a total Bid basis, whichever is deemed more advantageous to the Commonwealth.

All items will be delivered F.O.B Destination. Bids must be firm for sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for Bid opening.

Vehicle Services will complete scheduling and approved supplier shall reach out to Colleen Little @ colittle@pa.gov once contract has been awarded.

The awarded supplier should submit all invoices as a PDF file to 69180@pa.gov within 10 business days of completed service.
